Original TASMA FILM ISO 800 and TASMA FILM ISO 400 are black-and-white negative films, wound in “Type 135” reels. (classic 35mm). The new substrate is thinner, more transparent, and has enhanced antistatic properties.  The standard development time for ISO 800 and ISO 400 in D-76 is 11 minutes at 20 degrees C. For softer halftones, we recommend developing 24 minutes in diluted “1+3” D-76 developer at the same temperature.

We sell only fresh film produced within the last few months and with a shelf life of at least 2 years.

Pros: Despite the high contrast it gives great detail, very sharp.

We choose to use recycled film cassettes to support the environment!

The film is very light-sensitive, it can give flashes in the first two frames. This is why we spool 2-3 extra frames to our mentioned roll length. It is recommended to charge it in a dark room or shade. This film has a very thin backing, so it requires careful charging into the camera. There is no DX code for this film. Most cameras default to ISO 100 if no DX code is found.. Most cameras let you set iso manually for our ISO 400 or ISO 800 type film.
